Patient Information

We want your healthcare journey with us to be clear, simple, and stress-free.
Please take a moment to read the important information below.

What to bring to your first consultation

To help us give you the best care, please bring along:

  • Your ID or passport (or child's birth certificate if the patient is a minor)

  • Your medical aid card (if applicable)

  • A list of any current medications

  • Copies of any recent test results, scans, or referral letters

  • We kindly ask that you arrive a few minutes early for your first appointment so we can open a patient file and confirm your details.

Patient Privacy

  • Your personal information is protected under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

  • All records are handled securely and confidentially.

Consultations

  • We encourage in-person consultations for the best and safest care.
  • Telephonic and virtual consultations are available if you cannot come in, and are billed as full consultations.
  • These consultations have limitations — if a proper clinical assessment is needed, you may still be asked to come in.
  • Repeat prescriptions, motivation letters, and medical reports are part of our professional service and are billable.
  • ⚠️ Please note: WhatsApp and email are for bookings and admin queries only, not for medical advice or prescriptions.
  • This ensures your records are accurate and your care remains safe.

Medical Aid & Accounts

  • We bill according to standard professional and medical aid related consultation rates. These are usually covered by medical aid, but co-payments may apply.
  • Laboratory tests, radiology, and specialist referrals are independent services and billed separately by those providers.
  • Any shortfalls not covered by medical aid remain the patient’s responsibility.

Cancellations

  • Please let us know if you can’t make your appointment.
  • Cancellations less than 2 hours before, or missed appointments, may be billed in full.
  • This helps us manage time fairly for all patients.

Sick Notes

  • Sick notes are issued only when medically appropriate after a consultation.

  • Certificates cannot be provided without seeing you, or if you are not truly ill.

  • Requests for sick notes without a consultation will not be granted.

Our Commitment

We aim to provide quality care in a transparent and professional way. If you ever have questions about your care, billing, or medical aid cover — just ask us. We’re here to help.
