Dr. Alta Withers is a highly qualified General Practitioner based in Fontainebleau/Ruiterhof, Randburg. She obtained her Medical degree from the prestigious University of the Witwatersrand in 2004 and has since been providing exceptional healthcare to the community.

Dr. Withers is passionate about providing individualised healthcare to you and your family. Her focus is on women's health, paediatrics, sports medicine and preventative medicine. With extensive experience in paediatric surgery, general surgery, general practice, and HIV clinics, Dr. Withers has a wealth of knowledge to draw from to ensure that you receive comprehensive and personalised care.

Dr. Withers is also a member of the South African Sports Medicine Association, reflecting her passion for sports medicine. She is involved in clinical research and is an honorary lecturer in the Department of Paediatric Surgery at the University of the Witwatersrand, where she supervises undergraduate and postgraduate research.

When not working, Doc Alta loves spending time with family, being outdoors, and cycling. Her passion for cycling and transplant sport has enabled her to become involved with the South African Transplant Sports Association as a way to give back to the community. She is the chairperson of the Gauteng Transplant Sports Association and a member of the management committee of the South African Transplant Sports Association.
